Paul Sharman (Editor & Marketing Director) is a professional outdoor writer and photographer belonging to the prestigious Outdoor Writers Association of America as well as the Angling Writers Association and International Travel Writers Alliance.

With credits in major international magazines such as Fly Fishing in Saltwaters, Sport Fishing & Voyages de Peche, Paul will continue to author new articles as well as oversee day to day operations at Fish & Fly. More

John BaileyJohn Bailey has been writing for the angling press for just on thirty years. He has over forty angling books to his credit and has written for over eighty publications in the UK, throughout Europe and in America.
He has made scores of TV and Radio productions on the sport, guides and also leads escorted trips around the world. His photography, too, is acclaimed and for many years he has worked with Hardy and Greys as their lifestyle photographer.

Justin AnwylJustin Anwyl has been fly fishing for twenty years. In his mid-thirties he decided to leave the City where he’d worked for 15 years and start a saltwater fly fishing school on the South coast of England.  His interests now are namely Atlantic Bass where he guides in the Chichester Harbour and surrounding Sussex coastline.

From April to October he can be found teaching on the foreshores of Sussex the various techniques used to catch his favoured predator. More

Charles JardineCharles Jardine is to many the doyen of English Fly Fishers. A world-renowned casting expert, fly tier and innovator, artist and chef! Truly a man of many talents.

With a passion for teaching, Charles will bring his expertise and experience to helping to guide beginners and intermediates through the medium of our instructional video series and other projects. More

Eoin FairgrieveEoin Fairgrieve is a fully qualified casting member of the Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors. An avid all round sportsman, at the age of 24, Eoin became one of the youngest ever instructors to qualify in both the AAPGA. trout and salmon disciplines.

Before becoming a full time fly casting instructor in 2001, he was the head ghillie for 14 years on the famous Makerstoun beat of the River Tweed. Eoin has recently been appointed Scotland's first Angling Development Officer - responsible for introducing all ages and social backgrounds into fly fishing through his Tweedstart program.
Jeremy LucasJeremy Lucas is a teacher, writer and professional fly fishing guide (APGAI), particularly in Cumbria and the San River, Poland. He is a long-term member of England teams, having fished in numerous World and European Championships, as well as Home loch-style and rivers internationals. He is one of only three anglers ever to have won the top individual awards in both loch-style and rivers internationals. He has also won gold, silver and bronze team medals in World and European Championships, and an individual bronze medal in World Championships. His books, which included The Last Salmon, published in 1990, have been translated into numerous languages. He is currently completing a book about the forty years of his fly-fishing career. He specialises in wild trout and grayling, with a love of watercraft and presentation, which allow the angler to make the most of a particular reach of water. More
 
Simon JohnsonSimon Johnson has accomplished a huge amount as Director of the Wild Trout Trust. During the period of his stewardship the Trust’s credibility has rocketed and it sets the standards for all conservation bodies.

It first became clear, many years ago, when Simon was in charge of fisheries in Norfolk for the Environment Agency that he had an instinctive understanding of fish and fishery requirements.  A skilled writer, photographer and speaker, Simon is an expert in fishery management and restoration. More
Austen GoldsmithAusten Goldsmith has over thirty years of fishing experience and first started saltwater fly fishing in Australia seven years ago. He is now based in Cornwall and provides a guiding service alongside a saltwater fly fishing and fly tying buisiness.

Austen is keen to encourage others to get into the ‘wild and free' aspect of the sport and also highlight and support the efforts to safegaurd our fishery by organisations such as the Bass Anglers Sportsfish Society. More
Terry LawtonTerry Lawton is a writer, author and passionate fly fisherman. His first book, Nymph Fishing, A History of The Art and Practice was published by Swan Hill Press in England and the USA in November 2005.

He has had articles published in leading UK magazines including Fly Fishing & Fly Tying and Trout and Salmon, FlyLife in Australia and Kajman in the Czech Republic.
Juan del CarmenJuan del Carmen made his name guiding on the great fly fishing waters of Spain for trout, bass, different species of barbel and for the many fly-caught species around the coast.

For many years, Juan has worked also as a writer and a consultant and at present is working down in Australia where we hear he is murdering big barramundi on the fly. An insatiable angler and traveller, Juan is very much the face of modern fly fishing.
Ally GowansAlly Gowans is a professional writer, photographer, fishing instructor and guide who operates from Scotland. Ally's qualifications include APGAI trout, salmon and fly tying and he is an FFF Master Certified Instructor and Two Handed Casting Instructor.

He also holds AAPGAI Master Instructor status and is a fishcoach.org licenced Game Angling coach. More

Mark BaileyMark Bailey is based in Devon and is often found on Dartmoor with a tent, fly rod and a box of flies. He is a full time guide and instructor with the and a member of the Scott Pro Staff. Coming to fly fishing via pike fishing he was looking for new and interesting ways of catching his favourite species and from the moment he picked up a fly rod for the first time he has hardly ever put it down!

An innovative fly tyer, his patterns have accounted for more than their fare share of sizeable pike and many other species as well. He has written pike articles for magazines in the U.K, Europe and the U.S. As an AAPGAI instructor Mark gives tuition to those starting out in fly fishing all the way up to the very advanced with a single handed rod, something that gives him immense pleasure and satisfaction. Mark joins Fish & Fly as the regular contributor for ;-

Ian NealeIan Neale  runs his own guiding and instructing business in the Scottish Highlands. He hosts a number of fishing lodge parties.

He also instructs and guides clients on a daily/weekly basis teaching the art of Speycasting on his local rivers of the Spey, Dee and Findhorn More

Ian WhitelawIan Whitelaw is a freelance writer and photographer living in British Columbia, Canada. He has been a keen angler since the moment he caught his first trout, fishing with his father in Wiltshire at the age of 8.

Over the years he has fished throughout the UK, in Kenya, India, and Mongolia. Moving to Vancouver Island four years ago Ian now spends as much time as he can enjoying the wealth of fly-fishing opportunities in the Pacific Northwest.

Peter McLeodPeter McLeod has had a fly rod in his hand since he was seven years old, and has dedicated his life to the pursuit of different species on the fly. After working in the tackle industry during school holidays in his mid teens, he became a salmon fishing guide in Norway for Roxton Bailey Robinson until leaving university. Following a spell at Farlows of Pall Mall, he joined Frontiers International in February 2000 where he remained for the next five years. During the last 12 years he has fished extensively around the globe including Argentina, Belize, Mexico, Bahamas, Russia, Norway, Iceland, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Seychelles, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Cuba. His passion for fly fishing, tackle, techniques and overflowing enthusiasm for this sport will help you choose the perfect operation to suit your needs.
